Jamey Fitzgibbon

Biography

Jamey joined BluEarth in April 2017 and he is responsible for all areas of engineering and construction and ensuring successful project execution. Jamey brings to BluEarth over 30 years’ experience in operations, project management, finance and leadership. Prior to joining BluEarth, Jamey held senior leadership positions in the energy and financial sector. Most recently, Jamey was the Senior Vice President, Christina Lake and Special Projects with MEG Energy. Jamey has also served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Oilsands Quest Inc., Vice President, Resource Development for OPTI Canada Inc and Vice President at TD Securities. Earlier in his career, Jamey worked in the oil sands and heavy oil industry with Esso Resources, ELAN Energy and Ranger Oil. Jamey has a Bachelor of Science (Chemical Engineering) degree from Queen’s University and a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Calgary and is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors.
