Karl Jeppesen is the vice president of Supplier Management for Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS), based in St. Louis. In this role, he leads an organization of more than 2,000 employees that manages the annual purchase of $11 billion in products and services. He is responsible for all procurement matters, including policymaking, subcontract oversight and process improvement. The organization focuses on improving supplier performance and relationships, while providing the best value for customers and a competitive advantage for Boeing.
