Biography
Beverley Rader Lugo pursued nursing as a second degree after a short career in journalism. Wanting a career to make a greater impact on people, Lugo returned to nursing school and graduated in 1999. Lugo spent the majority of her career in critical care nursing, achieving the Critical Care Registered Nurse certification 2005 from the American Association of Critical Care Nurses. Certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Lugo also became certified in 2015 as an American Heart Association instructor for Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
