Biography
Joelle D. Powers is the Associate Dean of the College of Health Sciences and a Professor at Boise State University. The first step towards a career in social work was a trip to Africa during her undergraduate education. Witnessing poverty to such an extreme was the catalyst to pursue a career that focused on issues of social justice.
