Biography
As the Digital capability lead, Bryce Pippert drives the firm’s Digital Solutions capability agenda and service offerings, including digital strategy, digital experience, modern software development, and cloud and data platforms. He has a passion for helping clients capture value and gain efficiency through business model innovation, analytics, automation, and better use of data assets and open technologies and standards. Since joining Booz Allen in 2006, Bryce has led diverse teams supporting commercial and government clients through the full lifecycle of major organizational, process and systems modernizations. He has helped clients implement major reform agendas and significant legislative changes, including the Digital Accountability and Transparency Act (DATA Act), the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA), and the Pension Protection Act. Bryce is a member the Financial Research Advisory Committee and its Data and Technology Subcommittee, supporting the Department of Treasury’s Office of Financial Research. He is on the boards of directors of the Data Foundation and the Data Coalition, where he serves as chair of the DATA Act Task Force. In addition, he is an advisor to the Center for Open Data Enterprise and he was on the advisory committee for the 2016 Open Data Transition Report. Prior to joining Booz Allen, Bryce served in various leadership capacities for UBmatrix, Inc. (now part of Donnelley Financial Solutions) and as CEO of XBRL Solutions, Inc.. While there, he led the development of solutions to support the eXtensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL). Bryce has a B.A. in philosophy and political science from Wheaton College and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
