Biography
Jon J.P. Warner, M.D. joined the Harvard Combined Orthopaedic Surgery Department on April 1, 1998 as Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery, Partner's Health Care System and Co-Chief of the Boston Shoulder Institute. He was promoted to Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery in June of 2004. His practice is based at Massachusetts General Hospital. He comes to Boston from the University of Pittsburgh, where he was Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery, Director of the Shoulder Service, Assistant Director of the Center for Sports Medicine, and Co-Director of the Shoulder Research Laboratory at the Musculoskeletal Research Center. Under his direction, Pittsburgh became known as one of the preeminent centers for management of problems of the shoulder, as well as one of the premier research centers for study of biomechanics of the shoulder.
