Biography
Kleanthi Mavrogiannaki joins the department as a Lecturer in Modern Greek, teaching Beginning Modern Greek 2 (CL 112). She has a B.A. from Hellenic College and an M.A. from UMass Boston. A native Greek speaker, she has taught Greek in a number of Boston area schools (including Northeastern, The Greek Institute, and Hellenic College of the Holy Cross). In 2005 she founded Greek 4 Kids, Inc., a Greek language school for children and adults in Newton, MA, and since then has successfully taught modern Greek to over 300 students in both group and private programs.
