Biography
Mr. Larry Slagel serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Bradley-Morris, Inc. since May 15, 2017. Mr. Slagel served as Senior Vice President of Military Recruiting of Recruitmilitary Llc. He joined RecruitMilitary in 2001. He responsible for leading the business development efforts at RecruitMilitary. Before that, he served as Senior Vice President of Carew International, a global sales training and consulting organization based in Cincinnati. He served as a Platoon Commander at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. His platoon won the Marine Association Tank Gunnery Proficiency Award in 1988 and 1989. In 1990, he was assigned as an Officer Selection Officer-a recruiter of future officers-in Columbus, Ohio. In 1993, Officer Selection Station Columbus was named the top station of the year in the Fourth Marine Corps District, which included all or parts of seven states. As a result of that achievement, He was ranked as the top OSO out of 17 officers and awarded the Navy Commendation Medal. In 1990, he was only one of three 2nd Marine Division Lieutenants to be selected to serve as a Platoon Commander at CORTRAMID East. Upon completion of his tour at 2nd Tank Battalion, he was issued orders to Officer Selection Station, Columbus, Ohio in 1990. His tour as an Officer Selection Officer (OSO) culminated in 1993 with OSS Columbus being named the top station of the year in the Fourth Marine Corps District. As a result of this achievement he was ranked as the top OSO out of 17 officers and awarded the Navy Commendation Medal. During his Marine Corps career he attended the Officer Selection Officer Course, II Marine Expeditionary Force Maintenance Supervisors Course, U.S. Army Armor School, The Basic School and Officer Candidate School. Prior to RecruitMilitary, he worked for Carew International, ultimately achieving the positions of Vice President of Operations and Senior Vice President. A sought after speaker and organizational development consultant, he has worked with many of Carew International's highest profile clients. Mr. Slagel attended the University of Pittsburgh, where he graduated with a degree in criminal justice in 1987. Upon graduation, he enrolled in the Officer Candidate Course, completing the ten-week session in April, 1987. He attended The Basic School in the spring of 1987 and earned one of only three tank officer slots available for his TBS class. Upon graduation, Larry was issued orders to Officer Tank Basic Course in Ft. Knox, KY. After graduation from OTBC, he received orders to 2nd Tank Battalion, in Camp Lejeune, NC. He received a degree in criminal justice from the University of Pittsburgh in 1987. Later that year, he graduated from the Officer Tank Basic School in Fort Knox, Kentucky.
