Biography
Mr. Nauman joined Brady Corporation in 2014 after having been a Brady customer for 25 years at two Midwest integrated manufacturers of electrical and electronic connection systems. A hands-on leader who thrives on attacking challenges, Mr. Nauman is focused on driving product innovation. Prior to joining Brady, he spent 20 years at Lisle, Ill.-based Molex, where he launched that company’s high performance cable assembly business unit. Mr. Nauman took on successively larger assignments including turnarounds of lagging business units, developing overseas operations allowing worldwide expansion, negotiating key partnerships and creating a global strategy that opened up new markets and fueled revenue growth. In 2007, he became the company’s Senior Vice President while leading Molex’s Global Integrated Products division and was promoted to Executive Vice President in 2009. Prior to joining Molex in 1994, Mr. Nauman was a tax accountant and auditor for Arthur Andersen and Company before serving as Controller and then President and CEO of Ohio Associated Enterprises, Inc. Mr. Nauman earned a Bachelor of Science in Management from Case Western Reserve University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA), and holds three U.S. patents. Married and the father of two children, he is a board member of the Arkansas Science & Technology Authority, Arkansas Science, Technology, Engineering and Math Coalition, and Museum of Discovery.
