Biography
Jim is a 28- year veteran of the biopharmaceutical industry with success in start-up commercialization, acute/critical care hospital sales, marketing and national accounts management. Jim joins us from Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals, where he served as VP of Sales, Acute Care Business, responsible for sales of leading hospital product, OFIRMEV (IV acetaminophen), directing the field force. He also built an external cardiovascular device distributor team and an internal bio-surgery field force to launch portfolio of hemostat drug/device products. Previously, Jim was Ortho-McNeil Cardiovascular, where as Regional Business Director and Interim National Sales Director, he was a key member of senior leadership team responsible for the sales and marketing of NATRECOR, for acute heart failure. Jim began his career at Aventis (and predecessors Hoechst/RPR) as a field rep, hospital specialist and area business manager. Jim is a graduate of Western Illinois University (Bachelor’s in Marketing) and earned a MBA from Loyola University Chicago
