Biography

"I have taught management communication at Brandeis IBS for three and a half years. I'm the author of: The Case Study Handbook: How Read, Discuss and Write about Cases, Harvard Business Publishing, 2007 Management Communication, online course, Harvard Business Publishing, 2013 ""Peter Guber: the 'Me' vs. the 'We' Brand (with Stephen Greyser and Nelson Gayton), Harvard Business School case, 2014 I was also the developmental editor for the following book: Espen Anderson and William Schiano, Teaching with Cases, Harvard Business School Publishing, 2014 I am currently working with a colleague in the financial industry on a book about writing in the real world. I have been a consultant on writing at Harvard Business School for over two decades. I have taught the writing portion of the HBS PreMBA program for better than 17 years. I do presentations on case reading and writing for the first-year MBAs at HBS and in an HBS executive education program and facilitate Harvard Business Publishing's Participant-Centered Learning seminars, which introduce faculty from around the world to the case method. In addition, I run seminars on case teaching for LASPAU, a foundation that fosters innovation teaching in Latin American universities. Finally, I teach Business Communication in an EMBA program for professional athletes at George Washington University."
