Biography
Mr. John N. Nickolas has been Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of The Philadelphia Phillies since July 2003. Mr. Nickolas served as the Managing Director of ICG Group, Inc. (Now, Actua Corporation) since January 1999. Mr. Nickolas has served in a variety of roles including Chief Financial Officer of ICG Europe Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary and as a board member and Chief Financial Officer of Logistics.com, an Internet Capital Group partner company that was sold in December 2002. Mr. Nickolas served in various financial positions with Safeguard Scientifics, Inc. from 1994 to 1998, as Corporate Controller. Prior to joining Safeguard, Mr. Nickolas served as an Audit Manager in the Philadelphia office of KPMG LLP. He has been a Director of BravoSolution US (alternate name, Verticalnet Inc.) since February 2003. Mr. Nickolas graduated summa cum laude with a BS in Accounting from West Chester University.
