Biography
Steven Pozzi, Chief Operating Officer of Brenntag North America, graduated from Cornell University in 1981 with a degree in Chemical Engineering. He entered the chemical industry in 1981 as a Technical Sales Representative for Union Carbide based in NJ. In 1986, Mr, Pozzi joined BP Chemicals as the US Specialty Sales Manager in NY. While with BP, Mr. Pozzi was posted to a three year overseas assignment as Marketing Manager in England.In 1991 Mr. Pozzi left BP to start (with partners) a chemical distribution company named Quadra Chemicals, Inc. in New Jersey. Over the next 15 years, Mr. Pozzi developed the Quadra business into a $100 million company which was acquired in 2005 by Brenntag North America. Mr. Pozzi joined the Brenntag team and later took over the leadership of Brenntag Pacific headquartered in Los Angeles in 2007 as President.In 2014 Mr. Pozzi joined the Brenntag North America leadership team in Reading, PA as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.
