Biography
Corey completed his Bachelor of Science in Physical Education at the University of Saskatchewan before completing his Bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation in Occupational Therapy at the University of Manitoba in 2000. Corey joined Bridges Health on a full time basis in 2003 and also does work for Veteran Affairs, Worker’s Compensation and treatment clinics in Saskatoon and surrounding areas. Corey is a certified Matheson Functional Capacity Evaluator and particularly enjoys Worksite assessments, Physical Demands Task Analysis and Ergonomic assessments. Corey also has extensive experience in performing home and personal care assessments and farm assessments to identify potential barriers and make recommendations for clients returning to pre-disability home activities or employments. Corey also provides education to clients on new techniques to complete tasks, and recommendations to modify the environment or adaptive aids. He is registered in the provinces of Manitoba and Alberta and has been admitted as an expert in the area of Occupational Therapy in various legal and quasi-legal proceedings.
