Hafiz F. Chandiwala

Biography

 Hafiz F. Chandiwala is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Coca-Cola Bottling Company UNITED. Hafiz joined UNITED in 2001 as Corporate Controller and Assistant Treasurer. The following year he was promoted to Vice President, CFO and Treasurer and served in this role until 2014 when he undertook his current position. Prior to joining UNITED, Hafiz began his career in 1994 at Arthur Andersen LLP where he held several positions, including Audit Manager. In 1999 he was named Chief Financial Officer at Birmingham Fastener & Supply then joined UNITED two years later. Hafiz is in active member of the Birmingham community, holding leadership positions in several local organizations. He serves as a member of the UAB Collat School of Business Dean’s Advisory Board and UAB Blazer Athletics Advisory Board. He is a past Chairman of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society/AL-MS Chapter and an Advisory Board Member of the Easter Seals of the Birmingham Area. In 2007, Hafiz was awarded the first Outstanding Alumnus Award by UAB Collat School of Business. Hafiz holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and is a CPA in the State of Alabama. During his spare time, Hafiz can be found racing at Barber Motorsports Park, cheering on the Crimson Tide, and mountain biking at Oak Mountain State Park. Hafiz has two children, Amaan and Aneesa. He and his wife, Orooj, reside in Vestavia, AL.
