Biography
Mike is Director of Information Technology for Coca-Cola Bottling Company UNITED, Inc. He is responsible for all IT infrastructure and IT operations. Coca-Cola UNITED is the 3rd largest Coca-Cola Bottler in the United States and the largest privately held bottler. Mike began his career with UNITED in 2001. His 25 years plus experience prior to UNITED, included positions in Accounting and Information Technology in the heavy equipment manufacturing and apparel manufacturing industries. A native of Alexander City, AL, but has been a Birmingham area resident since 1972, Mike graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). Mike is a resident and active community leader of Vestavia Hills, AL. Mike has been affiliated with the Boy Scouts of America for over 25 years, serving in various capacities at all levels within Scouting. He has received both the Vulcan District Award of Merit and the Silver Beaver Award from the Greater Alabama Council for his service to the BSA. He currently serves on the Vulcan District Committee and the Greater Alabama Council Advisory Board. Mike and his wife, Beth, have three children and four grandchildren.
