Qinna Shen

Biography

Qinna Shen is Assistant Professor of German at Bryn Mawr College. Her book, entitled The Politics of Magic: DEFA Fairy-Tale Films, was published in 2015 by Wayne State University Press. She is also the co-editor of Beyond Alterity: German Encounters with Modern East Asia (Berghahn, 2014). Her research interests include German Studies (20th century), Film Studies, and Transnational Studies.
