Tracie Elizabeth Durden Associate Professor of Sociology & Anthropology At Bucknell University. And Co-director at Social Science Research Institute (SSRI) .She Studied B.A At Millsaps College, M.A At Georgetown University,And Ph.D At University of Texas at Austin. She has Nine Publications. And Also Received Awards For FULBRIGHT-HAYS FACULTY RESEARCH AWARD, 2008-2009 Proposal Title "Voces de Tabi: Yucatecan Mayan Immigrants, Hometown Associations, and Transnational Activism." J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board and the Department of Education, And Ford Doundation preparing Future Faculty Fellowship 1992-1994. Research Interests Includes International Migration from Yucatan Mexico, Immigration policy in the United States and growing role of detention.
