Biography

Mr. Thomas A. Kingsbury, also known as Tom, has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of Burlington Stores, Inc. since December 2008. Mr. Kingsbury has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of Burlington Coat Factory Investments Holdings, Inc. since December 2, 2008. He has been the President and Chief Executive Officer of Burlington Coat Factory Holdings, LLC since December 2, 2008. Mr. Kingsbury has 32 years of experience in the retail industry. He served as Senior Executive Vice President of Information Services, E-Commerce, Marketing and Business Development of Kohl's Corp. from August 2006 to December 2008. He oversaw store operations and information technology for Kohl's. He served as Senior Executive Vice President of Store Operations and Information Technology at Kohl's Department Stores, Inc. from May 19, 2006 to December 1, 2008. Mr. Kingsbury served as the President and Chief Executive Officer for Filene & Kaufmann of May Department Stores Co for seven years. He worked at the department store operator for more than 30 years. Prior to Kohl's, he rose through the ranks in several divisions of the former May Department Stores Company. Mr. Kingsbury has a wealth of knowledge and CEO leadership experience to the Tractor Supply Board, having worked in the retail industry for more than 40 years. He has served as a senior executive with several leading retailers, including Kohl's Corporation and The May Department Stores Company. Prior to 2006, Mr. Kingsbury served in various management positions with The May Department Stores Company, an operator of department store chains, commencing in 1976 and as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Filene's division since February 2000. He has been the Chairman of Burlington Stores, Inc. since May 2014 and its Director since December 2008. He has been a Director of Tractor Supply Company since November 06, 2017. He has been Director of Burlington Coat Factory Investments Holdings, Inc. and Burlington Coat Factory Holdings, LLC since December 2, 2008. Mr. Kingsbury earned his BBA degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
