Biography
Dr Sofia as a NIH Postdoctoral Fellow, Department of Speech-Language and Hearing Sciences,Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana currently an assistant professor at the Butler University. She completed her B.A Communication Sciences and Disorders at University of Florida, Speech and Hearing Sciences, Indiana University and PhD at Speech and Hearing Sciences/Linguistics, Indiana University. She has been awarded as Florida Bright Futures Academic Scholar, President’s Honor Roll, University of Florida Four-Year Scholar, Anderson Scholar of Highest Distinction, Speech and Hearing Sciences Departmental Assistantship. She has immense research experience as Graduate Research Assistant, Indiana University on Bilingual Language Lab; Completed spontaneous language sample analyses, NIH Postdoctoral Fellow, T32 DC000030-23, Communicative Disorders, PI and Research Mentor: Laurence B. Leonard.
