Biography
Dr. Larry Henry is the Clinical Director for BVA Advanced Eye Care. Dr. Henry received his doctor of optometry from the University of Missouri-St. Louis and completed his ocular disease residency at the Vision Education Foundation in Oklahoma City.In 1998, Dr. Henry was named Young Optometrist of the Year by the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians (OAOP) and was admitted as a Fellow in the American Academy of Optometry in 2005. He became a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry in 2011.As a young leader in his vision correction profession, Dr. Henry established an Ocular Disease/Refractive and Ocular Surgery Fellowship in Oklahoma City in association with Northeastern State University College of Optometry and BVA. He also serves on the medical advisory committee for Medicare in Oklahoma.In addition to seeing patients and teaching, Dr. Henry dedicates many hours each year to provide visual services to underprivileged Oklahomans and charitable organizations. He maintains active membership in the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians and the American Optometric Association.
