Timothy M Ring

Biography

Mr. Timothy M. Ring, also known as Tim, has been the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at CR Bard Inc., since August 8, 2003. In 1999, Mr. Ring served as named Group President at Bard Electrophysiology and Peripheral Vascular Products and in 2002 was given additional responsibility for Bard Access Systems, Bard Europe and Corporate Healthcare Services. He served as a Group President at CR Bard Inc. from April 1997 to August 2003 with most recent oversight for Bard's Corporate Healthcare, Peripheral Vascular, Access Systems and Electrophysiology Divisions as well as for all Bard's businesses in Europe, the Middle East and Africa until August 2003. He joined CR Bard Inc. in 1992 as a Corporate Vice President of Human Resources. In November 1995, Mr. Ring was given additional responsibility for Interventional Cardiology and Electrophysiology. In January 1997, he resumed additional responsibility for the Cardiac Assist and Cardiopulmonary divisions and in April 1997 was promoted to Group President at Coronary Vascular Products. He was employed at Abbott Laboratories for nearly 10 years, last as the Director of Personnel for the Hospital Products Division. During 1990, he served as General Manager at Abbott in the Australian, New Zealand and Indonesian operations. From 1987 to 1989, he was a Director of Personnel for Pacific, Asia, Africa and Europe.
