Biography
Ms. Shearer was appointed to her current position in February 2017, after serving as Corporate Secretary and Managing Counsel of the Company since February 2012. Ms. Shearer joined Cabot in December 2011 as Assistant Corporate Secretary. Prior to joining Cabot, Ms. Shearer served as Assistant General Counsel of KBR, Inc. since January 2007 and was in private practice as a corporate securities and transactional lawyer since 1992. Ms. Shearer earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Stephen F. Austin State University and a.Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from the University of Texas School of Law. She is licensed to practice law in the state of Texas.
