Sharon Moran

Biography

Sharon Moran is the Regional Vice President of the West Coast for Cadence Education (formerly Phoenix Children’s Academy), one of the largest early childhood educators in the country. Ms. Moran holds a degree in Accounting and has over 30 years of experience working with finances. She is largely known for her ability to multitask and problem solve, as well as her kind nature and outgoing personality. Ms. Moran joined Cadence Education in 1998 as the Company’s Controller. In her tenure she has helped to grow from 12 schools to 124 schools. This includes closing and transitioning two acquisitions both of which included 20 schools each. Although she has played crucial roles in all areas of the company, it did not take long for her to take lead as Vice President of Corporate Development overseeing all acquisitions, new build development and facilities. Ms. Moran’s reputable role and strong partnerships have allowed Cadence Education to grow and bring in over 100 schools and 15 new school builds to the Cadence Education family of schools. Prior to Cadence Education, Ms. Moran worked as a controller for several commercial and residential construction firms in the Rochester, NY area.Ms. Moran spends her free time with her children and grandchildren. She is an avid camper and loves to golf. Although there is not much of it, with 5 kids and 9 grandkids, when there is quiet time she loves to read.
