Biography
Dr. Eldeeb is Assistant Professor of Pharmacology. He completed medical school at the Faculty of Medicine, AlAzhar University in Cairo Egypt in 1999. After his clinical training, and practicing as a general physician, Dr. Eldeeb pursued his interest in medical research and academia by joining AlAzhar Faculty of Medicine as a pharmacology teaching assistant in 2002. In 2005, he obtained his Master degree of Pharmacology with grade “excellent “and was promoted to the rank of assistant lecturer of Pharmacology. In 2007, Dr. Eldeeb started his PhD studies in pharmacology at the University of Nottingham, UK, one of the internationally highly reputable universities, with an excellent reputation in pharmacology research, and he successfully defended his Doctor of Philosophy thesis titled “Role of the cannabinoid signalling system in microglial cell function” in 2010. During his time at Nottingham, Dr. Eldeeb was also involved in student activities and served as President for the Egyptian student Union branch in Nottingham and scientific and cultural officer for the Egyptian Student Union in UK and Ireland (2008-2010) where he received the best branch award in 2008. Dr. Eldeeb then served also as President for Egyptian Student Union in UK and Ireland 2010.
