Biography
Dr. Shirley McLaughlin serves as an adjunct faculty member at Campbell University, teaching courses in marketing at both the undergraduate and graduate level. Dr. McLaughlin received a B.A. in Biology from the University of North Carolina, and an M.S. in Management from Rollins University in Winter Park, Florida. In 2001, she earned her doctorate in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In addition to her responsibilities at Campbell University, Dr. McLaughlin currently serves as a tenured Associate Professor at North Carolina Wesleyan College, teaching courses on campus and online in marketing, small business management, and finance. She also serves as an adjunct professor at Methodist University, teaching online courses in Marketing. In addition, having worked as a consultant with Northwestern Mutual Financial Network, and as the Director of Marketing and Senior Financial Advisor at a Met Life affiliated company, Dr. McLaughlin brings relevant industry experience into the classroom.
