She is an Associate Professor of Molecular & Cellular Physiology.She is a member of Bio-X, Stanford Neurosciences Institute.She is a Chair of Provost's Advisory Committee on Postdoctoral Affairs from Stanford University (2012 - Present),Faculty Scholar of Esther Ehrman Lazard (2003-2005).He got Scientist Development Award from American Heart Association (2004-2007) and Cranefield Award from Society of General Physiologists (2008).
