Biography
Melanie G Hayden Gephart is an assistant professor of NEUROLOGY at canary Stanford university. Her lab uniquely understands the pressing clinical questions in neuro-oncology. Her masters degree in clinical research provides understanding of the translational potential of newly identified treatments through the development of clinical trials. Her basic science postdoctoral fellowship studied tumor genomics and identified potentially targetable genes crucial in tumorigenesis.
Research Interest
capacity of cellular and cell-free DNA to inform treatment choices in patients with brain tumors, and single cell and cell subtype-specific transcriptomics of infiltrating glioblastoma.
