Stephanie Thomas

Biography

 Stephanie Thomas joined Caris Life Sciences in 2010 and serves as Chief of Staff for the Office of the CEO, assisting David D. Halbert with corporate strategy and pull-through on company initiatives. Ms. Thomas also serves as General Manager of Mr. Halbert’s family office, which includes asset oversight and administrative management of its accounting team, flight department and other personal staff. Ms. Thomas brings to Caris more than 18 years of experience in administrative and personnel management. Prior to joining Caris, Ms. Thomas served as Mr. Halbert’s Executive Administrative Assistant at AdvancePCS®, a leading pharmacy benefits management company. Following eleven strategic acquisitions, the company sold to CareMark® in 2004 for $7.5 billion. Thereafter, Ms. Thomas served as a Partner of Caris Ltd. I, L.P., which managed Caris Capital®, formed in 2005 by Mr. Halbert.  Since its formation, Caris Capital has sold over $1.2 billion in assets acquired with a weighted average return of seven times the initial investment. Ms. Thomas attended the University of North Texas with a focus on business and communication.
