Research Interest
My research interest lies in developing nanoparticles based diagnostic and therapeutic platforms for cancer and cardiovascular diseases. In particular, over last few years, I have been interested in optimizing viral nanoparticles based drug delivery and imaging technology and the evaluation of structure-function relationships of these biomaterials in pre-clinical mouse models. My current research is focused on developing viral nanoparticles based cancer vaccines and immunotherapies. We are exploiting the highly organized proteinaceous architecture of viral nanoparticles and its natural tropism for immune cells to modulate tumor microenvironments.
