Kurt Laha

Biography

 He did his B.Sc., Biochemistry, Bacteriology from University of Wisconsin–Madison in 2000-2005 and Ph.D., Neuroscience from 2005-2011. He is currently working with Catalent Pharma Solutions as Project Manager.

Research Interest

 Scientist with a multi-disciplinary background. Research activities over the past ten years include studying the role of oxidative stress in neurodegenerative diseases, characterizing the interactions of drugs with ligand-gated ion channels, and investigating the actions of anesthetics on excitatory synaptic transmission. Strong ability to facilitate collaborations with outside groups in order to accomplish research goals and desire to share science with peers and non-scientists alike.
