Biography
David Malmo is President and Chief Executive Officer of Continental DataGraphics (CDG), a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company. CDG is part of the Customer Support business unit of Boeing Commercial Aviation Services. Mr. Malmo has been a member or CDG’s executive management team since 1994 and also chairs the company’s Board of Directors. Prior to joining CDG as its General Counsel, he practiced corporate and securities law at Munger, Tolles & Olson in Los Angeles. He was promoted to Vice President of CDG in June, 1995 and to Senior Vice President in August, 1997. Mr. Malmo played a leading role in CDG’s successful completion of several acquisition transactions, as well as the divestitures of various non-core businesses. He became the company’s President and Chief Executive Officer and led the company through its acquisition by The Boeing Company in September, 2000. In addition to his CDG leadership responsibilities, he also served in a parallel role as the director of Operations for Boeing’s Digital Aviation business unit from October 2013 to May 2015. Mr. Malmo has led the transformation of CDG from a traditional printing and reproduction services company into a global organization offering customized solutions across the entire technical information management life cycle, including technical authoring, engineering services and software solutions. Malmo graduated with honors from Stanford University and holds a law degree from the University of Texas.
