Biography
Dr. Rick Cohen was a founder of the Core Facility at the Rutgers' Stem Cell Research Center where he established a renowned stem cell training program and was instrumental in deriving New Jersey's first human embryonic stem cell lines. He completed his post-doctoral research at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, while working at the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke. Dr. Cohen has been honored with numerous awards for his work and scientific achievements.
