James Leslie

Biography

Prior to his work at Celmatix, James was CFO of TitleVest, a tech-enabled company operating in the real estate space, where he oversaw all financial functions while also providing strategic and operational direction during a period where the company tripled in size and expanded across the US. Formerly, James was as an investment banker with The Blackstone Group, a global investment and advisory firm, where he advised institutional clients on numerous multi-billion dollar transactions, offering guidance on financial planning and budgeting, cash flow forecasting, strategic and operational planning, and capital structure considerations. He earned an undergraduate degree from Vassar College and an MBA from Columbia Business School. In his spare time, James races J/24 sailboats and runs the occasional 10k.
