Biography
Dr.Harried is the Director of Chemistry at Centrose, bringing over 15 years of biotech industry experience. Prior to joining Centrose, he served as a Senior Scientist at Amgen in Thousand Oaks, CA in the Department of Medicinal Chemistry. His Amgen research covered the therapeutic areas of neuroscience, inflammation and oncology. He started his industrial career at Genentech in South San Francisco, CA in the Department of Bioorganic Chemistry. While at Genentech, he was a team member in the parallel chemistry group and performed research on antibody drug conjugates (ADC). Dr. Harried was a National Institutes of Health postdoctoral fellow at Harvard University and received his PhD in Organic Chemistry from UCLA where he received the 1997 Thomas and Ruth Jacobs Dissertation Award. He graduated magnum cum laude from the University of Wisconsin at Platteville with a B.S. in Chemistry. He is the co-inventor on 13 patent applications and has published 9 peer reviewed research papers.
