William J. Simpson

Biography

 Bill Simpson has over 30 years of U.S. and Global oncology and pharmaceutical commercial and drug development experience. Mr. Simpson has held many senior leadership positions in sales, marketing, and business development with leading oncology companies including AstraZeneca, Adria Laboratories (now Pfizer), and Ascalon International. As Global Marketing Director, Mr. Simpson led the world-wide commercial interests for several cancer development compounds including the recently available brand Caprelsa® (vandetanib) for medullary thyroid carcinoma. As National Sales Director and Oncology Marketing Director, Mr. Simpson launched Arimidex® (anastrozole,) and Casodex® (bicalutamide), brands that quickly became market leaders in breast and prostate cancer respectively. Mr. Simpson received his Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Missouri and served as Hospital Corpsmen with the United States Marine Corps.
