Frank Garafalo

Biography

 Mr. Garafalo joined Certara in 2015 as VP of Finance, bringing more than 20 years of experience in accounting, finance, project management and strategic leadership to the company. Frank came to Certara from Barnes & Noble where he was CFO of the Nook Segment and a lead member of the Barnes & Noble corporate development team responsible for partnerships, mergers and acquisitions. Previously, he served as the controller for Kaplan Test Prep and was a key player in their business transformation efforts to move the business model online and transform the organization into a digital education company. Frank received a BS in finance from the Pennsylvania State University and an MBA with an accounting concentration from the University of Phoenix. Frank is a New Jersey Certified Public Accountant, and he is also a Certified Financial Manager and a Certified Management Accountant with the Institute of Management Accountants. He was born in New York City and lives in New Jersey with his wife and their 3 children.
