Biography
Dr. Michelle Green joined Certara (formerly Quantitative Solutions) in August 2013 as a Director of Consulting Services. Prior to joining in 2013, Dr. Green spent six years as a Senior Scientist and Senior Associate in Pharsight Corporation (now Certara). Dr. Green’s modeling experience includes population PK/PD, disease modeling and model-based meta-analysis. She has applied modeling and simulation tools to drug development decisions across a range of therapeutic areas including cardiovascular (anticoagulation, hypertension), Alzheimer’s disease, urology (lower-urinary tract symptoms, overactive bladder), QT prolongation, HCV and oncology. Dr. Green was a Bioinformatics Scientist in the Artificial Intelligence Center at SRI International in Menlo Park. She has five years of experience in bioinformatics, including Postdoctoral positions at SRI and Stanford University, and is well published in the use of Bayesian methods for predicting protein function and metabolic pathways. Dr. Green earned a PhD in Bioengineering from University of California at San Francisco and University of California at Berkeley, a MS in Biomedical Informatics from Stanford University, and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University.
