Milène Borges

Biography

 Milène Borges has been working in the pharmaceutical and clinical research industry for over 10 years. She joined Certara in January 2011 as a Technical Writer and was promoted to Scientist in Pharmacometrics in February 2012. Since then, she has been involved in performing PK and PK/PD analyses of data from clinical studies in early drug development (ie, SAD, MAD, renal and hepatic impairment), data interpretation and reporting. In addition, Milène has supported population PK modeling activities such as dataset construction using R. Prior to joining Certara Milène was a PK Scientist in the Clinical Pharmacology Services group of MDS Pharma Services where she performed non‑compartmental PK analysis and report writing in support of regulatory submissions. She has worked in several therapeutic areas including oncology and infectious diseases. Before that, Milène worked as an Analyst in the Bioanalytical department of MDS Pharma Services where she was involved in Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) regulated analyses using LC/MS (Liquid Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry) detection systems. Milène received her Bachelor degree in Biochemistry from the University of Quebec in Montreal in 2002.
