Biography
An experienced health insurance executive and entrepreneur, Chris brings more than 25 years of leadership in the health care industry to his role as General Manager, SmartShopper. Chris focuses on the technology associated with Vitals cost calculator, as well as oversees the SmartShopper implementation and Personal Assistant Team. He is a member of Vitals’ Technology Operations Team chartered with developing and executing the strategies and plans required to advance engineering, technology and operations initiatives that support the business. Most recently, Chris was Chief Operating Officer at Compass Healthcare Advisers, which was acquired by Vitals in 2014. Earlier in his career, Chris served as Regional Director of Underwriting for MVP Healthcare and also held leadership roles with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield and HealthSource NH. Additionally, Chris has extensive product development experience, working on the design and implementation of systems to streamline acquisition and retention of business. Chris has a BS in Business Management and Resource Economics from the University of Maine
