Biography
Charles Holliday is Chairman of Royal Dutch Shell plc, and also a member of the Board of Directors for Deere & Company. He was a member of the Board of Directors for Bank of America from 2009 until May 2015, serving as Chairman from 2010 until October 2014. He was a member of the Board of Directors for E.I. du Pont de Nemours and Company (DuPont) from 1997 through 2009 and served as its Chairman from 1999 through 2009. Charles served as Chief Executive Officer of DuPont from February 1998 through January 2009 and has been the CH2M Board’s Independent Lead Director since January 1, 2012. Charles is a member of the National Academy of Engineering, is the former Chairman of the U.S. Council on Competitiveness and is a founding member of the International Business Council. He formerly served as the Chairman of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development and the Business Roundtable’s Task Force for Environment, Technology and Economy. He is the Chair Emeritus of the Board of Directors of Catalyst. Charles is the author of “Walking the Talk,” a book that makes the business case for sustainable development and corporate responsibility.
