Arie Kopelman

Biography

Mr. Arie L. Kopelman serves as Chief Operating Officer of Chanel S.A. Mr. Kopelman served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Chanel, Inc., a subsidiary of Chanel S.A., since 1986. His growth strategy for Chanel included remodeling stores, introducing a popular skin care line, and broadening Chanel's business base in accessories, fragrances, and cosmetics. Mr. Kopelman served as a Brand Manager of Procter & Gamble. He served as General Manager of Doyle, Dane and Bernbach, advertising firm. He served as Vice Chairman of Chanel, Inc. and Chanel S.A. He served as Vice Chairman of Doyle, Dane and Bernbach. He serves on board of many civic organizations including the Nantucket Historical Association, the East Side House Settlement, the Municipal Art Society and the New York City Ballet and is on the board of overseers of Columbia Business School. Mr. Kopelman graduated from Johns Hopkin and received an MBA from Columbia University School of Business. .
