Stephen Chubb

Biography

Mr. Stephen D. Chubb, also known as Steve, serves as Strategic Advisor at HistoRx Inc. Mr. Chubb has been Special Limited Partner of Catalyst Healthcare Ventures, a venture investment firm specializing in medical devices and diagnostic products, since June 2010. He is a seasoned executive with more than 30 years of experience in the medical products and biotechnology industries. He served as Chief Executive Officer and President at Allegro Diagnostics Inc. from September 2010 to March 2011. Mr. Chubb founded Matritech Inc. (also known as MZT Holdings, Inc.) and served as its Chief Executive Officer since 1987 until December 2007. Mr. Chubb served as President of MZT Holdings, Inc. until October 1993 and Treasurer until March 1992. From 1984 to 1986, he served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of T Cell Sciences Inc., a publicly-traded biotechnology company. Mr. Chubb served as President of the Hyland Diagnostics Division at Baxter Corporation. Prior to 1984, he served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Cytogen Company. He served as an Executive Chairman of MZT Holdings, Inc., from October 1993 to September 2008. Mr. Chubb served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts from 2006 to 2010 and was concurrently a director of Caregroup Healthcare System. He serves as Vice Chairman of the Board of I-Stat Corporation and is a Trustee of Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He serves as a Director of Amylyx Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Mr. Chubb has been an Independent Director of Charles River Laboratories International, Inc. since 1994. He serves as a Director of Immunetics, Inc. He serves as a Director of Charles River Laboratories, Inc. He served as an Independent Director of Allegro Diagnostics, Inc. He served as an Executive Director of MZT Holdings, Inc. from 1987 to September 2008. He is a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Chubb holds an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy.

The Company provides the animal research models required in research and development for new drugs, devices, and therapies. Charles River customers include pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, hospitals, and academic institutions.
