William C. (bill) Johnson

Biography

 Mr. William C. Johnson, also known as Bill, has been the President and Chief Executive Officer of Chart Industries, Inc. since July 14, 2016 and since May 25, 2017 and served as its Chief Operating Officer from July 14, 2016 to May 25, 2017. Mr. Johnson served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of The Refrigeration & Food Equipment Segments at Dover Corporation since March 2014 and served as its Vice President since May 2014. He served as the Chief Executive Officer and President at Dover Refrigeration & Food Equipment, Inc. He joined Dover in August 2006 as Executive Vice President at Hillphoenix He served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Graham Corporation from November 29, 2004 to June 12, 2006. Mr. Johnson joined Graham from ESAB Welding and Cutting Equipment, a global welding and cutting equipment manufacturer where he served as Senior Vice President and General Manager since 1999. His career has included extensive experience in the manufacturing sector. He was General Manager of the ABB Distribution Transformer Division from 1996 to 1999 and previously held other senior executive and general management positions with ABB. He was an officer in the United States Navy from 1985 to 1990, serving in the submarine fleet. He has been a Director of Chart Industries, Inc. since May 25, 2017. He served as a Director of Graham Corporation from 2004 to June 2006. Mr. Johnson earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Alfred University in Alfred, New York and his MBA from Rollins College.
