Sharon Moore

Biography

    Dr. Sharon Wyatt Moore completed her MD degree at Vanderbilt University, followed by MBA and MPH degrees at East Tennessee State University and the Medical College of Wisconsin, respectively. Following her medical training, she joined Beecham Laboratories, managing safety for US investigational and marketed products. With over 20 years of experience, Moore has seen patients in outpatient and inpatient settings and held clinical appointments.For the past 15 years, Moore has been with Chiltern, initially managing groups in medical, regulatory, quality and training. After 2007, she served as global head, quality assurance, before returning to manage the global teams in medical, pharmacovigilance, regulatory and medical writing. As Chiltern’s chief safety officer, she now oversees the safety, evaluation & reporting group, which includes the pharmacovigilance, medical data review and medical writing functions. Her work has supported multiple therapeutic areas, including respiratory, neurology, oncology, infectious disease and ophthalmology. She continues to hold an active medical license and has been a certified physician investigator (APCR/ACRP) since 2004. Moore is based in Bristol, Tennessee.
