Biography
Mr. Charles H. Robbins, also known as Chuck, has been the Chief Executive Officer at Cisco Systems, Inc. since July 26, 2015. Mr. Robbins served as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Field Operations at Cisco Systems, Inc. from October 2012 to July 26, 2015. He served as Senior Vice President of the Americas at Cisco Systems, Inc., July 2011 and served as its Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales. Mr. Robbins served as Senior Vice President of US Enterprise Commercial and Canada at Cisco Systems Inc. since August 2009 and served as its Senior Vice President of Commercial Business since December 10, 2007. He served as its Head of North American Channels at Cisco Systems Inc. Mr. Robbins served as Group Vice President of U.S. and Canada channels for Cisco, San Jose, Calif. Mr. Robbins is an active member of the Atlanta chapter of Business Executives for National Security, a nationwide, nonpartisan organization through which business executives can help enhance the nation's security. He's also actively involved in Partnership Against Domestic Violence, the largest nonprofit domestic violence organization in Georgia, which offers 24-hour emergency safety and shelter for battered women and their children. He has been a Director of Cisco Systems, Inc. since May 1, 2015. He has been an Independent Director of BlackRock, Inc. since May 25, 2017. He serves as Chairman of the U.S.-Japan Business Council. He is a Member of the International Business Council for the World Economic Forum and The Business Roundtable. Mr. Robbins holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics with a Computer Science concentration from the University of North Carolina.
