Biography
Dr. Lori Boyer, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management, joined Clark Atlanta University’s School of Business in August 2012. Prior to joining CAU, Dr. Boyer taught in the journalism and mass media programs at Texas Tech University and Louisiana State University. Prior to her academic career, she worked in journalism and media relations at a major newspaper, a network affiliate television station, and a major southeastern university.
Research Interest
Her current research projects investigate how Millennials use social media to communicate with Corporate America and the challenges that Millennials and Boomers must address while sharing the workplace. She also is interested how colleges and universities build communities with prospective students and other interested stakeholders. She has presented her research at local, regional and national conferences.
