Mark A. Prygocki

Biography

 Mark A. Prygocki, Sr. serves as a member of our board of directors and as Chairman of the audit committee. Mr. Prygocki currently serves as CEO and a Director of Illustris Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a privately-held bio-development company. Mr. Prygocki is a pharmaceutical industry leader with over 20 years of experience, specializing in corporate strategy and operational efficiency.  Mr. Prygocki's previous experience includes work at Citigroup, an investment banking firm, in the regulatory reporting division. Prior to that, Mr. Prygocki spent several years in the audit department of Ernst & Young, LLP. He is certified by the Arizona State Board of Accountancy and the New York Society of CPAs. Mr. Prygocki served for over ten years on the board of Whispering Hope Ranch Foundation, a non-profit organization that assists children with special needs.

Research Interest

 He was employed by Medicis Pharmaceutical Corporation for more than 20 years and served as President from July 2010 to December 2012. Prior to that, Mr. Prygocki held several senior‐level positions at Medicis, including Chief Operating Officer, Executive Vice President, and Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer.
