Travis Joyner

Biography

Dr. Joyner is a Managing Partner at BrightMark Partners, a growth equity and management firm dedicated to providing capital and resources to venture, growth phase, and middle market businesses. Dr. Joyner has broad experience consulting to a broad range of companies, from large corporations to start-ups. His areas of expertise include quantitative analysis, corporate and legal strategy, risk management, technology development, market analysis, organizational design and structure, market strategy, and capital campaigns. Dr. Joyner sits on the Board of Directors at Loenbro, Inc., a diversified energy services and construction company with more than 750 employees. In addition, he is a Board Advisor to Prostar Geocorp, a company pioneering geospatial intelligence software in energy infrastructure and transportation verticals. Prior to his current positions, Dr. Joyner had a career in management consulting and market research, consulting to Fortune 500 companies across the country. He earned his Ph.D. in Communication at the University of Kansas. His graduate focus was market research and statistics. Dr. Joyner also received his J.D. from the University of Montana, earning a Certificate in Mediation and serving as the Managing Editor of the Montana Law Review. He earned his B.A. from the University of North Carolina—Chapel Hill, graduating with Distinction.
