Biography
Mouin Sami Abdallah, MD, MSc, is a cardiologist specializing in general cardiology and cardiovascular imaging in the Robert and Suzanne Tomsich Department of Cardiovascular Medicine, Sydell and Arnold Miller Family Heart & Vascular Institute. He sees patients at Cleveland Clinic main campus. Dr. Abdallah earned his medical degree from American University of Beirut, Lebanon, in 2000. After completing an internal medicine residency at University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa, in 2005 he spent the next six years as a primary care physician and hospitalist with Unity Point Health System in Iowa. During that time he also served for two years as Associate Chief Medical Officer and Chief Quality Officer for the health system followed by two years as Chief Medical Informatics Officer. In 2009 he received a Master’s of Science in Health Care Management from Harvard School of Public Health, Boston, Mass. Dr. Abdallah left Unity Point in 2011 to pursue subspecialty training in cardiology at Saint Luke’s Mid-America Heart Institute, Kansas City, Mo. In 2013 he received a Master’s of Science in Clinical Research from the University of Kansas, Kansas City, Kan. Dr. Abdallah joined the Cleveland Clinic staff in 2016 upon completion of his cardiovascular disease fellowship.
